Here, Najdi Classicism is blended with the distinguished craftsmanship of Art Deco, and wrapped in a façade inspired by the King’s favourite flower, the Taif Rose.

The Red Palace Legacy Journey

  1. 1943

    The Red Palace was gifted by King Abdulaziz to his son, King Saud - Crown Prince at the tienm -.

  2. 1945

    The Red Palace became the official residence of Crown Prince Saud، welcoming many state guests over the years.

  3. 1953

    The Red Palace became the official seat of the Council of Ministers.

  4. 1968

    The Red Palace entered a new phase of renewal, preserving its historic presence.

  5. 1988

    The Council of Ministers held its final meeting at The Red Palace.

  6. 1988–2002

    The Court of Grievances moved into The Red Palace and remained there until 2002.

  7. 2023

    Boutique Group began transforming The Red Palace into a boutique hotel.

  8. 2026

    The Red Palace opens its doors to the world.
