SYMBOL OF MODERN RIYADH

MEETING POINT OF THE WORLD

As Saudi Arabia’s modern legacy unfurled, King Saud commissioned the palace. Its architecture is testament to the forward-looking king. Welcoming worldly guests as a royal abode, and later as the Council of Ministers’ headquarters, the palace fuses the design language of the east and west – blending Art Deco and Najdi Classicism – with a façade inspired by the monarch’s favourite flower, the Rose of Taif.
